In our lives, diamonds represent love, eternity and hardness.
These physical properties of diamonds are deeply ingrained in our minds. But beyond that, what else can be the identity of a diamond?
My project therefore combines the properties of diamonds with a range of life-saving objects.Through restructuring, I threw in a new identity that I thought would represent diamonds -
diamonds save lives.
My project explores the identity of diamonds through the use of mixed media, while at the same time reflecting on the possibilities of jewellery and the joy of the relationship between jewelly and object.
