This animation deeply satirizes the oppression of Chinese education through vivid color contrast and symbolism. This story tells about a vibrant and "colorful" child who is forced by his mother and school to spend every day studying and taking exams. The other children in the school are all black and white, with dull expressions, like machines without souls. The protagonist questioned such a life, but was severely punished by the teacher. Even though he got almost full marks in the exam, his mother still did not allow him to pursue his interests and dreams. Under heavy pressure, his colors gradually faded, and he eventually became like other children, becoming an undifferentiated "learning machine". The animation reveals the stifling of individuality and creativity by exam-oriented education with strong visual metaphors and emotional impact, and calls on people to rethink the meaning and direction of education.
