Jewellery

The work is composed of acrylic, mirror, ruby, and metal. I often think that my cognitive world is like a gemstone, it has its own color, but it also reflects the things I come into contact with. But this huge gemstone is made up of many small fragments, and every analysis of myself is like breaking the stone to uncover unknow piece.

Anthea from China explores extreme complexity, violent aesthetics, pragmatism, and idealism in her work. The topics she is interested in are usually searching for self, personality, and memory. In her work, she hopes to record a dynamic ‘moment’ through jewellery and sculpture.
