A [wedding] interlude is defined as anytime in the ceremony where there are no words being spoken, and no activity for at least a minute. During this time, you may wish to have an interlude song played.

Weddings perform a perfect site of cultural hybridity. The wedding interlude sits between these events and expresses this perfect harmonisation. Operating as a remix, it can take any cultural sonic fragment and position it compositionally, manipulate it if necessary, and express into the space. Wedding interlude is a physical manifestation of a silent, disappearing process. An instrument that seeks to position a sculptural diagram of hidden, perfect process.
