Immerse yourself in the stillness.

The abstract forms projected onto the curtains are more than shapes; they are a visualization of thought transposed onto the sheets, like scans of your brains. As you step between the curtains, you are invited to immerse yourself in the profound stillness that fills the space. The space wants you to empty your mind, silence your thoughts but you will find that this is an impossible request. The towering walls surrounding you rise like silent sentinels; their imposing presence are enveloping and confronting. They stand; they listen.

Jenice loves to reminisce and ruminate her past… obsessively. Though one may find this to be a distraction from the present, as an artist, Jenice finds this to be an informative quality that endlessly fuels her art making by liberating memories and emotions of her past; to Jenice, regret, nostalgia, embarrassment, joy and anger of past are necessary experiences to relive for her art making; it is an acknowledgment of the life she has lived and honouring the experiences that have come to pass.
