The concept was inspired by a scene I once dreamed about. This dream inspired me to think about our daily life, whether your life is unchanging and invariable or you often encounter maze-like dilemmas. When we are in the real world, sometimes things happen that upset us, and these emotions can manifest in our unconscious behavior. So, this work combines the surreal subconscious and dreams with the endless staircases. When we fall asleep with emotions, we may dream about some specific emotional situations in our dreams, and sometimes these dreams are vivid and very real. My work is a manifestation of dream emotions. The endless staircase is also a continuation of human emotion.
