Since the dawn of civilisation, humanity has been at war with itself. Throughout the course of history, countless wars have been waged with the aim of gaining wealth, land and power. Blood continues to be spilt in the name of religion, empires, kings, queens, tyrants, countries, states, and political agenda. Today warfare is glorified through the lens of popular culture in the form of games, toys, film and tv; promoting the futile loss of life in exchange for the illusion of victory. War is a constant that always has, and always will, plague the world in which we live.
