Jacqueline Larcombe
About
These columns are drawn from the prefab Corinthian columns of Earlwood, a south-western suburb of Sydney. They stand in likeness and variation from house to house and from street to street, as the unofficial icons of the neighbourhood. Unlike the architectural feats of an ancient past, these columns appear in miniature, almost friendly and essentially ornamental.
