Andrea is a first-generation South American interdisciplinary artist who works mainly with textiles and performance art. She explores trauma and healing within culture, the experiences of first-generation immigrants and diaspora along with cultural (dis)connection through a deeply personal and often political lens, often expressed through surreal Dadaist performances and traditional handsewn textile works.
