Daniel Mai
About
One of the pieces is a fantasied landscape of China, Where Daniel drew what his sibling thought of when he the word “China”. As they have not been to China, all the places and locations are all from the mind and interpretation of what is China to them.
On the other side, the city is an interpretation of his parents when they thought of China, a more realistic side to China, where urbanisation and modernisation took over most of China. It is still an interpretation to what Daniel’s parents had in mind as he is the one drawing.
