About

The Silent Voice is a coming-of-age romantic drama about three main characters. The story begins with a mature gentleman Adrian (Male Protagonist), who stands at the window holding a piece of his graduation photograph of high school best friends. And then, the story flashback to Adrian’s high school period, when he is still a shy and naive high school student. In that graduation photograph, there is a lovely and cheerful girl Tammy (Female Protagonist), whom he has loved secretly since the beginning of high school; meanwhile, Tammy also has a crush on Adrian. Though, Adrian doesn’t know about it.

After taking their graduation photos, Adrian and Tammy starts their graduation trip, and they take pictures together and make many beautiful memories. In the evening, they are sitting on the shore looking at the sea. Tammy hints that she is troubled by a man constantly talking to her recently. But at the same time expresses her need for a partner to protect and take care of her.

However, Adrian misses it again because he is too shy to confess his feelings to Tammy. After the trip, Adrian walks Tammy home and says he would like to see her again tomorrow. Tammy, with disappointment from the trip excuses herself. Meanwhile, due to her family pressure about their financial status, she has to date another financially independent gentleman Darren (Male Antagonist). The next day Adrian finally decides to confess to Tammy with a banquet of flowers on hand, only to find her getting into Darren’s car. Adrian is depressed and waits for an explanation when she comes back. Stubborn as he is waiting for Darren’s car to return at late night. Darren helps tipsy Tammy out of the car. Looking closely, Darren kisses her and drives away.

Unfortunately, Tammy turns around and sees Adrian. One’s eyes meet the other’s; he is left with silence and disappointment. He then drops the withered flowers and runs away. Tammy chases after him behind but couldn’t catch up. She kneels and cries on the street, slowly opening her wallet, crying at the picture of her and Adrian. When Adrian finally has the courage to confess his feelings to Tammy, it is too late for both of them.
